wow. i've seriously been mia for the last couple of months, haven't i? have another disjointed entry...

it's been simultaneously crazy busy and crazy boring. i've been having to deal with a shitload of rl crap, including bs left over from selling my house back in november and finding a new job. provided all the paperwork goes through on time, i'll be starting next monday. it's an it support position, but very happily, not software support beyond windows itself. no more bs-ing my way through people asking how to do things in excel or word. XD; i'll mostly be doing hardware and os stuff on desktops and laptops, which means lots of taking stuff apart. whee~

i've been burying myself in scanning and working on my websites to distract myself really, to the point that my eyes are starting to cross every time i look at photoshop. which, btw, cs3 is amazing and wonderful love omg. i never bothered upgrading because i have the full cs premium (ligitimately, even) but ps cs has been giving me some really quirky issues since i installed it with leopard and i couldn't take it any more. :/ expect another large update over at super☆lover on sunday.

to those of you (ie. pretty much everyone) i've been neglecting/avoiding, i'll be peeking my head in more. things are very gradually starting to get worked out so my moods aren't quite as volatile. >_>;;

on a happier note, the internet is really cool. shut up, youngn's. i didn't get even dial-up internet til my senior year of high school, i'm allowed to have 'this is cool' moments. ;P i've been discovering a lot more music and fandoms and fic lately. yes, kenaressa, i've started memory-ing the sga stuff, have at. been listening to back-on all day after i downoaded a pv of theirs on a whim from ureshi now. jrock/alternative with the rock/rap that most japanese artists seem physically incapable of doing without, but i can actually stand the singer's voice (this is rare with me and jrock, which is annoying because i love rock music so much more than pop). i picked up a bunch of their stuff off jpopsuki and am quite liking most of it. especially their newest single sands of time and one of the c/w for it, fifty/50. i swear the music for 'rain' sounds like a kra song.

koda kumi's new single is a compilation with fergie. the pv is kinda hot. um.

someone on jpopsuki needs to post beam of light, like, yesterday. i am dying to hear this damn album, especially with it being an actual concept album but i can't afford to get it on its own so it is being shipped with seventh ave. (limited edition cover dfhgfhgfdhfdg and i like keita's hair so nyah). plus, 100% is entirely in english. and available for free on itunes, but to dl from the japanese store your credit card has to have a billing address in japan. wth.

elise_maxwell and i have determined that ken hirai is seekritly moonlighting on stargate atlantis. srsly.

i talked to granny the other day. she and my dad are sending me a care package with fried apples, dale's sauce, and maple candy. i am happy. elise_maxwell, expect dinner whenever it gets here. :D

today was actually productive for once. i usually do absolutely nothing on the weekend, but today i finally washed my car and detailed the inside so it no longer looks dusty grey-brown on the inside and out, it's now tan and slytherin green, respectively.

finally got tierasa's new laptop up and cooperating with its shiny new os. and promptly put 20gb worth of crack pretty boys on it from mine. XD

and all the stuff i've ordered from y!j is in the states so i've requested shipping to here. and my last magazine order from ka yiu until after august unless i find either kera issue should be here some time next week. i will be strong and not buy anything else! well, after the smj order comes in i'll have all the w-inds. albums and singles in some version (even if a couple aren't first pressings, i'll just find them later) so that will help. and the new arashi, w-inds., and pi single i preordered using points. ugh. this is going to be difficult. especially if keita w-inds. keeps looking so damn hot in their photoshoots.

so.... after these next several scan posts, don't be expecting a whole lot of media in my lj until after august. m(._.)m

lmfao... the order of some of these amuse me greatly. particularly going from #20 to #21. i did this with my entire library (~6000 songs) so genres are all over the place. i had to skip several instrumentals and one or two i couldn't romanize by ear or find lyrics for quickly.

see, i really really loved keita's voice on this mr. children song, but the quality was driving me batty. took out the wonky glitch at the beginning, added a fade in/out, and tried to filter out some of the noise in the last part.
