anyways, on the topic of teh new car, i can't get the tags that i had on my old car on this one. why? because someone already has it. *pout* 'slythrn' probably wouldn't be as appropriate on a black car as it was on the green car anyways. but, now i have to pick a new one. elise_maxwell keeps trying to convince me to do 'ryu1'... >_>; i like '1 or 8' cause it'd be fun to have people going 'bwuh?' trying to figure out some weird way to read it. XD

if you think of a better idea, check and see if it's available here and tell me in the comments field why. it can be up to seven letters/numbers long and the only other character that can be used is a hyphen. ^^

i'm stuck here at work for another hour and a half. and i was an idiot and didn't bring my laptop so i can't do any coding or graphics. and of course they don't have the language pack installed on here so i can't read anything japanese. D:

oh! i found out about the car. not only did whatever the heck it was kill the radiator, the force of the impact punctured my air conditioner causing me to need a new one of those as well as have the freon replaced. -_- and the air flow sensor. $700+. *headdesk repeatedly*

Some iPods Shipped With Windows Virus

It seems some video iPods were recently shipped with a Windows virus on board. According to a statement on Apple's Web site, a small number -- less than one percent -- shipped after Sept. 12 carry the RavMonE virus, a mass storage virus that only affects Windows computers. It reportedly was traced to a PC at the manufacturer where the iPods were made, and it can be detected and removed by up-to-date anti-virus software.

Apple has received less than 25 reports of infected iPods, but the statement makes it clear the company is none too happy about it:

"As you might imagine, we are upset at Windows for not being more hardy against such viruses, and even more upset with ourselves for not catching it."

The virus affects only Windows, not Macs or the iPod itself. Apple has posted instructions for removal of the virus on its site.

so i was having a pretty good day today... my fc postcard for keita's solo came in (♥ to sourangel) and work wasn't quite as boring as it usually is. got into a discussion about music with one of the guys in the class who recommended some stuff.

something ran out in front of my car (i'm 99% sure it was a cat which really doesn't make me feel any better) and since i was going 80 there was no way i could have avoided it.

so now, my front bumper looks like this... and now i have to take it in in the morning because i just noticed by looking at the pic that it's leaking radiator fluid. god dammit, i so cannot afford this right now. and replacing the bumper would be a perfect time to put the body kit that i have sitting in the garage on, and to get it painted, but noooo.

fuck.
