i... wait... WHAT?!
that was pretty much the theme for the past few hours. in a good way. really.
spent the first part of the day at nagoya castle which was really beautiful. it's so sad the the original castle was destroyed in the war, but the rebuilding of it is amazing. got some sakura ice cream from a place in the courtyard area and while i was eating it, this little boy was clambering over the bench and under the table i was at. when i left he waved 'bye bye'. kids are cute as long as they're not mine. XD;;
while exploring the castle grounds, i ran across this little bit of fluff sunning himself like he was nobunaga in a former life or something.
went back up to nagoya station and wandered down to the zepp to see what could be had for tickets. this was some time around four. bypassed creepy scalper guy when he wanted $200 for a ticket in the 1600's. took some pictures and such, and found the not-creepy scalper guy, who was really quite personable, considering he makes money from ripping off desperate fangirls. he had 3 pairs of tickets, standing area in the 1400's, second floor seated, and standing area 50's. i looked longingly at the 50's, but there's no way in hell i was paying $400 for them. so after a bit of confusion (in which he asked about six or seven passersby if they spoke english ^^;;;), i decided on the second floor seat for $200. figured it'd be a nice view of keita's hands on piano. :x
wandered around some more and took some more pictures, then sat over on the sidewalk with my ipod to chill for the next hour or so since they seat the second floor last. i went to go wander again about fifteen minutes before they started letting the numbered seats in, when nice scalper guys comes up to me and says 'give me your ticket' to which i go 'bwuh?!', not having a clue what was going on. i was like 'oka~ay...' and hand him the one he sold me earlier... and i about fell over when he handed me one of the 50-numbered tickets.
remember the theme for the day? yeah.
i realize it was because he could much more easily sell the standing ticket since there was more time left before those started seating, but damn. so i ran over to stand in line in a state of total shock, ending up at the very front on ryuichi's side when i get inside. literally. the very front. leaning against the bar. two feet at most from the stage. keita was blocking my view of ryohei a lot of the time, but... well... it's keita.
the next hour and a half was one great big blur of OMG and WHAT!? so i'll try to remember what all i can.
w-inds. 2008 fan club event 3/25 @ zepp nagoya
now that i could actually see what they all were wearing, some revisions to the previous descriptions...
outfit one~
ryohei: grey pinstriped jacket, no hat tonight, dark blue (possibly black) sweatervest, shirt was black at the top with white collar, but yellow where it stuck out from under the vest, the tie looked silver and yellow (and black?) striped, pants were that kind of denim that's black and shiny-ish so that it almost looks like leather at first glance
keita: grey jacket, black capris (lol) with dangly strappy bits, black and green argyle print high socks, black boots, black fedora with the back turned up
ryu: realized he wears the same grey pants all night, jacket is the same grey color with white edging along the seams, tshirt had a crest and said 'abu dhabi university' (wtf), hat just like keita's
outfit two~
ryohei: jacket was like a shiny windbreaker with silver and gold patches on it, pants are maroon, purple, and dark grey camo
keita: the black overshirt is actually a thin, longish hoodie that zips down, black with little white skulls patterened (big surprise there), those green cargo pants have lots of pockets andstrategically randomly placed zippers
outfit three~
ryohei: wearing the adachi mitsuru shirt again under the hoodie
keita: same cargo pants and boots from earlier, except the tour tshirt
ryuichi: same as before, but no tshirt under the hoodie this time *cough*
various mc incidents
• ryu's out talking by himself at first, per usual. kei comes out and ryu asks him a question and sticks his mic in front of kei, who answers, but after a second is like 'chotto matte... jibun no mic desu yo...' ('wait a second, i have my own mic, you know'). to which ryu answers, 'jibun no mic? ehh?? kakkoi!!' ('your own mic?? really?? co~ol!') and kei gives him that adoring exasperated look he gives to ryu all the damn time.
• ryu picks up the glasses ryo was wearing earlier from the side table and puts them on, generally acting retarded for a minute before putting them down.
• in the first one (i think), they're talking about contacts and glasses and ryo jokes that he can only see the first few rows of fans. kei starts talking about how you should be careful and wear your contacts properly and make sure you can see, and ryu makes a comment about 'so what about those sunglasses?' and they proceed to tease ryo about wearing sunglasses on stage.
• when keita's in those aforementioned green cargo pants they're standing there, and i don't know if someone in the audience yelled something or keita caught them staring, but he looks down at his fly (because we all know he has a habit of forgetting to do it up) and checks, then get's indignant about 'they're buttons! of course they're done!' and ryu leans over going 'there's zippers~' and starts playing with random zippers on keita's pants, one of which is rather high up and in on keita's thigh, unzipping, sticking his fingers in, zipping back up, yanking on the zip pull until kei bats him away.
• ryo calls kei weird. well, kei is flailing and ryo looks pointedly at him and then at the audience and goes 'atama ga okashi [fullstop]'. *gigglesnort*
i'm a man/past tense
i know there's little to no chance of either of these being on the summer tour, but that choreography really shouldn't go to waste. especially not when it involves snappy body rolls and ryu being... ryu. *ahem* i can't even begin to describe the sheer force of that boy's raw sexuality on stage. i simply don't have the words, and no video or photo could even come close.
~w-inds. music corner~
• when they initially get set up, ryu and kei are talking and someone mentions michishirube, the audience goes crazy, keita looks at ryu, grins, readjusts his guitar and pedal and dives into the first line in then stops. after he and ryu giggle over it, they continue. i also realized at this point that keita was using his 'keita tachibana' guitar picks. on the pick holder of the mic stand he had two of the rainbow-y ones, a silver shiny one, and two white ones.
• after somehow, ryu leans over to swap guitars and his foldy chair goes backwards and foldy. ryu gives it a :O face, and a staff member comes to grab it and ryu decides to stand up for the rest of the time and adjusts his mic accordingly.
• in between songs they're talking about how the setup is nostalgic and reminds them of when they did give you my heart on the soa tour. ryu (while picking out bits and pieces of give you my heart) mentions ryo was on bass then and keita asks ryo which he likes better: bass or piano. ryo answers bass, because it's lonely playing it by yourself but piano isn't.
• ryu has the most adorable little annoyed moue when he messes up (that he only did once)
the drawing this time around had different items for ryu and kei. ryu's was one of the thanks promo items (the planner thingy) and i'm not entirely sure what the other thing was. it was a clear and red fairly small box and possibly was and electronic something-or-other. mp3 player? *shrugs* when keita said what his was, i literally collapsed in giggles and had to pick myself back upright with the banister. a signed english study book. .........exactly.i don't know if he gave it away because he leveled up or gave up, but i'm thinking the latter. while kei and ryo drew their number, ryu used the time to mercilessly torment yu-ki and yoshio (i recognized them, but i can't remember for the life of me who was standing on the left and who was on the right). whoever it was on the left got the first batch of trauma. somehow, ryu managed to get his hands on one of those fake swords that collapses in on itself. he started by 'stabbing' him in the stomach. repeatedly. then lower. then hacking at his neck, all the while his victim is standing there trying not to completely crack up. the ryu starts poking his armpit. and his nipple. and hacking at him again before sticking the sword through his poor victim's belt loop. he then moved on to his next victim, choosing to tug on his shirt. which was promptly tucked back in. and ryu untucks it again. repeat at least four or five times until it's time for ryu to go and ryo to be bored, using the sheet that had been over the prizes and holding it up in front of yu-ki and yoshio and waving it like magician's cloth.
after the vtr, while they're dancing, ryu's in the spotlight doing his bit, ryo is standing quietly, and kei is totally grinning at ryu while doing ryu's dance just out of the spotlight's reach. when it's ryo's turn, he stands there stroking his nigh non-existent chin fuzz in contemplation for a moment before doing some breaking. then it's kei's go, and he's made much progress in moving fluidly with those wonderfully long limbs of his. though i was honestly paying more attention to the omg smile on his face and the tongue sticking out as he laughed and spun around.
super lover
everyone was bouncing all over the damn place, and again with ryu and kei dancing and ryo going 'bwuh?' which was adorable. as they're walking around, ryo comes over in front of where i'm at and the fangirl to my left is spazzing out. i choose that moment to crane my head around her to look at the far end of the stage to see ryu snuggled up to keita's side with his arm's slung around kei's waist. keita eventually makes his way over to my side, and then kneels down literally right in front of me. *whimper* spazzy fangirl nearly launches herself over the bar but thankfully doesn't quite reach him. he gives her a little head shake and 'no~no~' finger wag and sdgdfsgfdgdfhdhgg that was one of the sexiest keita things i have ever seen but am proud of myself for staying composed. especially after getting a smile of my very own. keeping going, when it gets to right before ryu's solo line, he's on the other side of the stage, leaning out dangling his mic out over the crowd. i have no idea if this was an accident or on purpose, but the next thing i know, he's supposed to be singing and he's not. and his hands are empty. keita turns around and gives him this look of 'what have you done now?' and ryu waves his hand over at the area he'd lost his mic, does this little 'oops~' shrug and grins.
after they do love is message and are saying goodbye, the audience starts chanting 'mou ikai!' (more! more!). they laugh, and ryo is like 'you're like little kids! what if we started going "iyada! iyada!"' ryu gets that devious look on his face that pretty much says 'more, huh? >D' and yanks down the zipper of his hoodie with absolutely nothing on under it, cants his hips to the side and poses. keita whacks him on the head. ryu zips back up. a few seconds later, the whole thing happens again. unzip. pose. whap. zip. talk. unzip. pose. whap. zip. talk. unzip. hoodie thrown open all the way. yet a more manly pose. harder whap. sulking zip. meanwhile i've about lost it and am clinging to the banister i'm laughing so hard. then after everyone had calmed down (mostly) they mentioned it was one of their manager's birthday, and pointed up at the seating area up to the top side for staff. but he wasn't up there. they got everyone to sing happy birthday (in english, lol) and were looking offstage laughing like 'i hope he heard it'. XD
ok... i think i got it all in there. if not, that's what the edit button is for. i'm still somewhat in shock over the whole thing, even though it wasn't anything like getting keita's towel at kanazawa, it was just... whoah. smiles make me happy. :3
please don't murder me. i swear this whole incident was completely on accident.
