w-inds. 2008 fan club event project
if you'll remember, i asked about those interested in this post here and have gotten a good idea of things. as promised, now that tour dates are set and i know for the most part when i'll be going, i've got more details for you.
~content~
the whole concept is to make a scrapbook, so most anything goes. you can write a letter, use pictures, drawings, magazine clippings, &tc. be creative! be reasonable though, don't have anything hanging over the edge of the page or sticking up from it. the book does need to be able to close properly. keep any pictures or drawings you include pg. that means no nudie pics of yourself to try to win over the boys or explicit drawing of any sort. any language is fine, but if you are able to translate it or write in japanese, it would help. i am not providing translation services (my japanese is mediocre at best) so you're on your own as far as that goes. i'm just doing the compiling, assembly, and delivery.
~due date~
all entries must be received by march 1 to be included. must. must. must. i cannot stress this enough. when you have your entries redy, email me at allicheri[at]gmail[dot]com for an address to send them to. i will have help assembling the books (thank you
kenaressa and
elise_maxwell), but am flying to japan mid-march. the books will be delivered at this year's fan club event, most likely at one of the nagoya shows.
~size requirements~
1~2 people: one full 8x10 page, or a half page if you feel you can't fill up a whole one
3+ people: two standard 8x10 pages
entries will be attached to scrapbook pages and placed in a book together. you may send in an individual entry in addition to a group entry. to make things even, please send in one entry per member if possible, as there will be a book given to ryohei, keita, and ryuichi individually. by 'group entry' i mean you and a group of friends submitting pages, NOT a w-inds. entry. there are only going to be three books, one for each member.
~things to send~
•your pages to go in the books, noting which page goes to whose book
•your name (real or your online name is fine)
•your age and city/country (optional, but will be good to show where all we're from and stuff)
•a small donation (optional, again, just $1 or $2 will help, i'm paying for the books out of my own pocket and they are not cheap)
~notes~
•if you can't physically make and entry and snail mail it, you may also digitally enter. the size requirements are the same, just make sure you do it at at least 300dpi so that it looks good when printed.
•more information will probably added to this post shortly as people start asking questions.
IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON PARTICIPATING, PLEASE COMMENT TO THIS ENTRY WITH YOUR NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION ALONG WITH HOW MANY PAGES YOU THINK YOU WILL BE SENDING.
SPREAD THE WORD! ♥
