w-inds. live 2007.08.14-15 nagoya

yay for notes written down after the show. :D

so far nagoya is the largest hall i've gotten to see them in, about 3000 people. the first night our seats were near the back on the second level. the second night we were on the third level, fourth row. it was an interesting change from looking at them straight on. not that i minded third row, but variety is good. XD the hall was pretty much set up the same way as the others, but the stage has a 2 or 3 foot wide strip on either side that goes about two-thirds the way back along the first floor but was blocked off by the amp and speaker towers (yes, there's a reason i mention this). the building it's in is huge and quite pretty. mousapelli still has all the pictures. *pokes*

i might be confused a bit on feel the fate, there was love and crack at every show and i so can't keep what happened when straight. ^^;;;

anyways, the concerts. :D


2007.08.14

keita pawed ryu when he walked by him on bw66. XD

ryu had a blonde moment and introduced another days as their fourth single. >_>;

he also seems to really like those poles. he was hanging suspended from it instead of just sliding down it once, and i swear he uses the stairs half as much as the other two.

ryu demonstrated his moonwalking skills during one of the mcs.

tooi kioku continues to be love, keita playing with ryu's shirt again at the end, even after the lights go out.

i have no idea how he managed without getting feedback from hell and/or going deaf, but ryu was sitting on the stack of amps/speakers on the right side for nearly a whole verse (i think it was try your emotion).

when feel the fate starts, ryu's over on the left side of the top level and keita comes out and looks at him, then goes to sit (japanese formal style) on the edge in the middle, then ryu comes and joins him and keita gets him to sing.


2007.07.15

this show was really a great way to leave, even though i so lost it during the encore and goodbyes. ;~;

various crack on the mcs~ ryu moonwalking again, as well as doing the choreography from thriller and dancing/singing beat it, following it up with that classic michael jackson pose we all know. then there was talk about food and eating udon, which led to talking about protein and ryo saying it builds muscles and pushing ryu's sleeve up to grope his bicep to demonstrate, which led to ryu doing the same to keita.

for once i was watching keita during devil instead of ryu and ryo at the part where those two are back to back. hands all the way down his body and i swear he's been watching ryu on stage so much he's gotten ideas. *dead*

right after the mj discussion, ryu leads into introducing hanamuke by saying it's an 'omoshiroi' (interesting/fun) dance. to which keita's like 'intersting? huh?' and ryu changes it to 'ii dance' (good), then changes that to 'GOOD DANCE!' (yes, engrish).

at the end of message, ryu starts undressing the second the lights start to go down and nearly has his jacket off before the couch is halfway below the floor. ;9

remember those amps and speakers i mentioned? keita decides to give the staff synchronized heart attacks by jumping them and going all the way down the left side, past the reach of the spotlight and kneeling on the edge (in the dark) reaching out over the mass crowd of fans that had surged over that way. they finally somehow get the spot to go further and he goes back, later doing the same on the right hand side, to be fair. ryo also got brave and jumped them, but stayed against the wall dancing and waving, as opposed to purposely riling the crowd like keita.

feel the fate. ♥ keita plops down on the stage next to ryu, drapes his arm around his shoulder, and puts his mic to his mouth for him to sing into. while keita's in front of ryo playing mic stand again, ryu sneaks up behind him and starts pulling at the knot on the towel around his head with his teeth so after he lets go, ryo spends the next half a verse trying to retie his towel.

ryu sounds fucking amazing playing the fire flower solo.

best version of keita's dance break yet: ryuichi and one of the dancers doing it as they're walking out to say goodbye. *dead of lol* poor keita. ^^;


this year's con dvd is going to be the best yet, provided nothing happens between now and the show they film. seriously, if even a quarter of the stuff we saw makes it to the dvd. though honestly, if i get to see ryu playing guitar over and over and over again, i will be happy. XD
