so. yesterday.

best day evar.

had my first japanese movie theater experience (transformers, ftw XDv). yummy toast, waffles, and melon soda for lunch. had the cutest taxi driver who saw an old friend of his and rolled down the window to talk to him while we were at a stoplight, and got a 'ganbaru!' from his friend. saw a motorcycle gang (with the chicks driving and letting the boys ride in back) on the way back to the hotel. and in between all that?

w-inds.

whom i somehow manage to love more and more every day. the sheer joy with which they perform and the way you can so clearly see that they love being w-inds. amazes me. the dedication and perfectionism of ryohei. keita's raw emotion and the way he gives 150% while onstage. the total awe and brilliant smile on ryuichi's face as he looks out at the audience.

apologies in advance for the fragmentedness of this one. i think i'm still in shock it'll mostly be random notes about what was different or things we specifically noticed that we couldn't see during the previous show. and the reason my love for keita has skyrocketed like i didn't think possible. ♥

random notes
• during one of the mc's keita kept bopping ryu on the head til he fell down and curled up into a little ball 'crying'. TT__TT
• also on an mc (the same one, i think), ryu kept trying to take keita's hat off til keita finally got tired of it and was like 'go take off riida's hat!'. ryu took one step foward and the look from ryo stopped him dead in his tracks, making him back up like a kid caught in the cookie jar. XD
• keita and the shirt/jacket off the shoulders thing and pulling it open by the edge/collar. damn. we're talking the wink frequency. which was somehow made even funnier by the fact that with the short haircut he currently has and the sweat making it stick straight up when he didn't have a hat on made him looking disturbingly like he did in the because of you pv.
• the vests are actually dark colors, ryohei's was pinstriped.
• ryu's hair was a little different tonight, the very bottom was loose around his shoulders with the front pinned back and looped around his ponytail. ryo's was down in his face and looked like he got it cut a little.
• we were close enough to tell what brand underwear keita was wearing. under the twelve, if you want to know.
• ryo and keita trying to talk during an mc and ryu starts trying to gnaw on keita's shoulder. XD

boogie woogie 66
apparently they're taking the dance break as improv time. :D this time ryo went back to the pole and flipped sideways, then upside down on it and spun down. *___* he also had an elbow brace on for the first two songs. it was during this song that we knew keita had seen us, but the best part of that is later. ;[]

top secret
still fucking hot as hell. and the random cute omg. at the bridge part they're at the front middle of the stage and ryu and ryo each reach one hand in front of keita to join in the shape of a heart. ♥x5475346435432634

at the beginning while keita's singing, ryu and ryo are facing foward on their knees, then fall on their stomachs and then flip over. later they dance backwards to eachother and sit on the ground back to back, leaning back and forth with ryu giving ryo this adorable smile the whole time. and it was at the end of this, not the dance break, that ryu and ryo exit out the top door together.

keita is far far too obsessed with his muscles. ♥ ryu is so nonchalant, except for the second time he comes out through the doors on the bottom and has his shirt raised up to his chin, treating us to a gratuitous chest and abs shot. ;9

is that you
forgot to mention that part of the choreography *ahem* was keita flipping the mic stand back and catching it and flipping it back with his feet. what was incredibly adorable was when they rotated around to where ryo was standing in that spot, he was leaning on it... and having to reach up to put his hand on top of it.

watching ryu on this makes me so happy. just the way he sways and mouths along with the words blissfully with his eyes closed and head back.

love is the greatest thing
they are so damn goofy during this song. the boys and the dancers both super energetic. ryu spent a few lines after the cloth thing singing with it draped across his face.

feel the fate
ryu sat over on the left side top stairs this time and keita came out the right top. when they all ended up on the lower level together keita points at ryo to sing his part (which he does, beautifully) while keita and ryu stand over to the side with their hands over their mouths in typical fangirl pose, totally fangirling him. XDDDD next is ryuichi's turn, but instead of singing keita's part, he sings his own harmony part while keita stands there like' you're not singing the right thing!!' and then... keita comes over to the side we're at. and is holding the mic out like he always does... and then he sees us, and his eyes light up and the box smile gets even brighter. and we find ourself with keita pointing his mic directly at us with his fingers out in a 'v'. sdshfdshdshdhfdjfj and my mind totally goes blank and it was on one of the entirely japanese lines that i swear i know but i don't think i could have remembered my name at that point. so he starts singing the words at us and we totally got fail!keita'ed by keita.

fire flower
dfhdsgdsgdh ryu played guitar again, and was right in front of the aisle i was on so i had a pristine view of him working that thing like omg. but before that. they sing the first verse bouncing all over the stage slinging towels around their heads... and as they start coming to the edge of the stage, the very first place keita goes, is directly in front of the two of us. points at me. gives me a huge grin. and proceeds to toss said towel perfectly over the first two rows and straight into my hands.

excuse me while i die. repeatedly. and very nearly start crying while they're saying goodbye. (and ryu waves at mousie and her ♥ at him ;[]v)

this is another reason i love w-inds. fans. as soon as lights come up and we turn around to leave, a group of them smile at me and all go 'omedetou!'. then politely ask if they can touch it. it took at least fifteen minutes to get out of there with all the flailing (mousie spoke japanese!!! if 'doki doki' and 'lucky!' counts. XD) and people asking where we were from and where we were going next (like this adorable pair of ladies in the lobby at the hall) and pictures... and we spent a good half hour at least talking to the girls in our hotel lobby who, right after we walk in and go to get our room key, go 'keita?!?!' across the room. went up and got our laptops and talked to them some more until they had to leave to take the train out. so cute. omg i love this fandom.

i have no idea how to end this entry. so i'll just end it with what i'm feeling right now.
