okay. w-inds., loves. we need to talk.

i will admit to not liking most of the recent releases, but that's another story. the recent keita x g-dragon special (because that was not a group effort and you'll never be able to convince me it was) was interesting, but there's been a serious lack of releases in general for the last year or so. granted, i've been keeping up with tvxq a lot lately and compared to them, just about every other artist barring koda kumi is lazy as fuck, but still.

and the let's have a tour before we release our new album thing? i am so confused. when i first heard about it, and the tour title 'sweet fantasy', i wondered if it was going to be a fan voted concert like was done for part of the set list for journey. now that i see the tshirts for it (which, bad placement, ryohei, sweetie. at least some of your fans have boobs. still, a+ for glow in the dark.), i have to expect that it pretty much is going to be all old stuff. like, really old stuff. i don't know if this is a good thing or not.

don't get me wrong, i adore w-inds.' older stuff, but... they were written when keita's voice was drastically different. the older songs that have been done in the last couple of tours have been rearranged a bit and the key dropped a signifigant bit so they sound good, but they just don't sound right.

there's one one advantage at least: more ryuichi and ryohei if they end up doing a lot of 2003-2006 era stuff.

*sigh*

this new album, when we finally get it, better be effing amazing. :/

since i don't listen to the radio any more i miss out on all the news about american bands. decided to check and see if anyone was going to be doing any concerts in the near future, and lo and behold...

so let's say there's this awesome piece of software that you can install. that you are encouraged to install, even. the catch is, it's a beta, so you can only use it for so many months before you have to install the new final version. or else, your computer will reboot itself every two hours. a month before the time limit runs out, you get an email every few days reminding you to go install the new version. it even comes with a handy link to instructions on how to do the install yourself in at least three different ways (internet, cd/dvd, usb drive). starting two weeks before time runs out, you get an email every single day telling you to update it, or, again, you'll be rebooting every two hours.

upon receiving the first email, do you:
a) immediately try it and/or contact your local it person to help you out
b) wait a couple days for everyone that did a) to get done, then try it and/or contact your local it person to help you out
c) wait until the last week to try it and/or contact your local it person to help you out
d) wait until the last three hours of the last day and then go beg your it person to do it for you because you can't figure it out (or didn't even bother to try)
e) d) with the added appeal of blaming your local it person because there are already 25 people in line in front of you and you don't want to wait and can't it be done some other way in an hour?

wallapapers! :)

it's been a while since i've made any wallpapers aside from just something to use. the mirotic and singles scans were begging to have something done with. they're all pretty simple since i don't like text and stuff cluttering my desktop. most are 1920x1200 (because no one ever makes ones that big which means i always have to make my own stuff for my work pc D:) with adjusted smaller ones for those with text, but the ones without should resize fine to any widescreen resolution and they should work fine centered on any non-widescreen resolutions.

that being said, if you really need another resolution since i know vista is crap for letting you adjust things *spoiled by osx and win7*, just let me know and i'll see what i can do. ^^
